LDLC came out on top of the G2A Cup, powered by FACEIT, following a 3-0 victory over HellRaisers (16-10 on de_nuke, 16-7 on de_dust2 and 16-12 on de_cache).

After winning their first two matches of the tournament, against 3DMAX and mousesports, without dropping a single map, LDLC continued their excellent run of form and eased past HellRaisers, who fielded Egor "⁠flamie⁠" Vasilyev as a stand-in for Emil "⁠kUcheR⁠" Akhundov, on just three maps in this best-of-five contest.

The first map of the series was de_nuke, where LDLC turned in a disappointing display on the CT side, picking up just eight rounds. However, the Frenchmen turned up the heat as Terrorists and, powered by Richard "⁠shox⁠" Papillon and Nathan "⁠NBK-⁠" Schmitt, picked up a 16-10 victory to take a one-map lead.

LDLC kick off 2015 with a bang 

Next came up de_dust2, where LDLC ran riot on the CT side and secured a whopping 14 rounds. HellRaisers still tried to respond but all they got was six rounds as LDLC ran out 16-7 winners.

The third map was de_cache, where, despite a strong display from Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev, HellRaisers could not prevent LDLC from posting a 16-12 victory after going up 11-4 at the break.
